![]() Now onto the tabs, for now i'm going to include 3 tabs for each band i post on here with more follow up posts in future if anyone asks. From the sadness of the untimely death of Bon Scott to their well deserved induction into the Rock N Roll Hal Of Fame in 2003, they've been through it all and come out the other side stronger than ever. Formed in 1973 by Malcolm and Angus Young they've been considered one of the main pioneers of heavy metal and the legacy they've carved out for themselves since then speaks louder than the awesomely deafening volume they love to play music at. From what I remember there were a lot of really cool songs I can only hope that some of that stuff does resurface and get worked out."Īs a huge Guns N Roses fan (well the original line up, i figured this was worth sharing)Īfter giving this a bit of thought i decided to start out with one of the most well known bands. "There was so much material that didn't make it onto. "There are some clamoring and rumors that we might be getting some material together" Reed said. Meanwhile, the modern GN'R lineup continues to prepare for a European tour of arenas and festivals from May - and they might even return to the studio to work on a follow-up to 2008's "Chinese Democracy". So we haven't really talked about it - but I'm sure we'll have to at some point." "I don't know when or why or how to bring it up. It left fans hungry for a reunion of their early lineup, but unresolved tension between members - particularly Axl Rose and Slash - meant a stage reunion was uncertain.ĭizzy Reed said the band are yet to discuss any potential performance, but only because it's a touchy topic to mention: GN'R were confirmed for their induction into the Hall of Fame last December, which bands are only eligible for 25 years after releasing their first record. While Dizzy can't promise a performance, his confirmation that they will attend is the strongest suggestion so far that they will perform after all. I'm just going to go in with a good attitude and a clear head and a grateful heart." It's one of those things I'm sure will all come together and be really cool. "I don't know exactly what's going to go down. "I know that all the original band is going to be there," said keyboardist Dizzy Reed in an interview with Billboard. The original Guns N' Roses lineup will attend the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony after all - but will they perform? Steven Adler for example and while he might not be the most technical drummer ever there's no denying he left his mark and Appetite just wouldn't of sounded the same without him, while i'm really no big fan of the current incarnation of GnR in the slightest i still hold the orignal line up through the Use Your Illusion albums in very high reguard. There's been some casualties along the way as well. if you've ever seen the Live In Tokyo DVD's you'll know what i mean. Through all the drink and the drugs they always managed to pull of one hell of a live performance as well. Theres no denying they've really made their mark on the music scene and left one hell of a lasting impression and even today 28 years after the original release their debut album Appetite For Destruction is still amazing as ever and still gets regular plays from me and at a best guess a hell of a lot more people, it really has stood the test of time. Thats right it's Guns N Roses time, one of personal all time favourite bands.
